I have to be honest, computer whispering is not going well for me today! This is the third time I have tried to fill in this blog post, so please forgive me for the nutshell version this time!!
The first clinic at Griggs Ghyll Farm went very well on Saturday. It started off a little dubiously with sideways rain and lots of traffic issues, but things quickly began to look up! I even got to grips with my walking stick (following a badly sprained ankle) and found I could use it for poking at students, pointing at parts of horse anatomy or waving about to add emphasis to my teaching! I was so pleased with the open, positive atmosphere of the clinic (thanks for that students, you know who you are!) and the progress made by the horses (and humans) was fantastic. I'm already excited to do the next one.
Harvey is allowed out again now following his fight with a fence, so we are both very happy about that!
I am teaching on the IH course in Witney tomorrow, and am bringing home the little IH Marlboro horse box to take Romi and Banks (both youngsters) out and about over the next week or so. So if you are at any clinics or unaffiliated shows near Heathfield this week, keep your eyes out for us and do come and say hello!
